Vlog: How Do You Find Freelance Clients? Part 2

Last week I shared a vlog on the ways I had found freelance clients (and they me) for social media and content work. Based on personal experience I shared a few tips on how you can use public speaking, pitching, online portfolios and guest posting to build a freelance client list. In this week’s vlog I follow up with a few pointers on networking (online and offline) and doing what I call “a bloody good job”. (I really am getting more Aussie!)

If you have any questions on anything I mentioned in these videos let me know in the comments below. And if you’ve got a freelance or travel blogging related question you would like answered in the next vlog email me at jayne@girltweetsworld.com.

    Hi Jayne,
Another good post here. My thoughts were as I listened: ” It’s easier to connect when you’re working in the industry and have the opportunities to meet/greet and connect with other industry professionals. As opposed to being an outsider, attempting to find a way in freelancing as an ‘unknown.'”
Trust building comes to mind. 🙂
I’m not sure if you have touched on the importance of working out revenue streams in any of your other Vlogs (I need to double check) but one thing I would like to ask you is, “Did you know what they would be before you started or have you worked them out as you’ve gone along?
