Behind The Scenes Of Travel Blogging – Work Diary Video Week 4

It’s Friday arvo (got the lingo down already) here in Sydney and rather than writing I decided I would natter to the webcam about what I’ve been up to this week instead. I hope you’ve all had fun, productive weeks. If there is anything I mention in the vlog that you would like to know more about, feel free to send me a note at jayneytravels@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!

Campos CoffeeWhere I’m Working

Dining table of our short term rental/cafes in Newtown, Redfern and Surry Hills.

What I’m Reading:

Vietnamese Baby by This Battered Suitcase. Brenna’s honest and beautifully written account of a love affair born in Vietnam.

We Broke Up by Vicky Flip Flop. A raw yet inspiring account of Vicky’s recent relationship breakdown and her travel plans for the future. (See you in Bali chick!)

Pros and Cons of a Digital Office by Y Travel Blog. Working from a beach = great. Sand in your laptop = not so good.

houses in darlinghurstWhat I’ve Been Posting:

First Time Flying First Class – not quite what we hoped.

House hunting in Sydney – harder than we hoped.

#AirFranceTravel Trends On Twitter – go us!

What I’m Working On:

Judging the final week of the #HolidayBraggie entries in the Three Mobile contest and researching lots of great cake and coffee places in Sydney (it’s a tough job but…)

What I’m Watching;

House Husbands and Winners and Losers (the best Aussie dramas I have found so far, although there seems to be a limited pool of actors in Oz, pretty sure everyone has been on Neighbours at some point.)

Cake, way too much cake. Like the berry brownie and mascarpone cupcake (seen right) and a Tim Tam pie from The Pin Tin. Sometimes I also eat salad too. Big fan of the gluten free range at Thrive.

Ha it is so true re: Australian actors. I feel like some make a cameo or have a lead role in every show/mini series/movie. Sigh.

    This is a cool idea!

I must not pinch it. I must not pinch it. I must NOT pinch it.

    (Can I pinch it?)
